IBM Netcool Operations Insight · Deployment & Scale

Deploy on-premises, on OpenShift, or hybrid.

On-premises, containerized on Red Hat OpenShift, or a hybrid of both. Netcool Operations Insight meets your estate where it is, with the multi-tier resilience carrier operations demand.

Deployment Models

Three ways to run it — one operational standard.

On-premises

The traditional model: every component installed on servers using native operating-system resources — full control, in your own data center, air-gapped if the mission requires it.

Red Hat OpenShift

The cloud-native model: the platform installed on OpenShift with its services containerized and orchestrated by Kubernetes, deployed through an Operator — with support for offline, air-gapped installation.

Hybrid

The pragmatic model: keep the OMNIbus event core, Impact, and probes on-premises while analytics, event management, and automation run on OpenShift — on-prem probes connecting into the containerized platform.

Carrier-Grade by Design

Multi-tier scale and high availability.

The multi-tier architecture and primary/backup ObjectServer pairs are what let Netcool run the networks that simply cannot go dark.

  • Multi-tier collection, aggregation, and display architecture

  • Primary/backup ObjectServer failover pairs at every tier

  • Automatic failover and failback

  • Hybrid connectivity from on-prem probes into OpenShift

  • Integrations to ServiceNow, databases, and message buses

Modernization

A staged upgrade path, not a forklift.

Estates evolve. AccuOSS designs the route from a traditional on-premises Netcool deployment toward a containerized or hybrid footprint — and, when the time is right, toward IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps — staged so operations never lose visibility for a moment. We handle version upgrades, architecture changes, and the migration tooling, so modernization is a plan, not a gamble.

The right architecture, proven before it's trusted.

AccuOSS sizes, deploys, and hardens Netcool for your estate — on-prem, OpenShift, or hybrid — and proves the failover before you depend on it.
